I have this book of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Some of the standards are in it, but so are some stories I have never heard of.

Take The Adventures of Chanticleer and Partlet, for example. It’s the story of two chickens who venture into the forest to eat nuts.

*Spoilers coming.*

They do some stuff, and then they die! In fact, every other character in the story dies as well. And it’s true. We all die.

When you put it like that, it’s easy to follow up with, “What will my life have looked like?” And I doubt many people want to reflect on their lives and see that they neglected their biggest dreams.

Dreams take work to accomplish, so I’m getting to it.
