This is the first time I\u2019ve attempted any kind of everyday project. I\u2019ve thought<\/em> many times about doing 36 Days of Type<\/a>, Inktober<\/a>, and The Alphabet Superset<\/a>. I\u2019m inspired by people who have built their careers off doing something everyday for a year, or even more impressively, everyday for years on end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is my *checks blog<\/em>* seventh day in a row of posting everyday, which is my first milestone. First of all, yay! Second, it’s still in the gestational period, and although I do have plans as far as what I want to achieve from this, I am also keeping my options open. Expectations are low (if one post per day is considered low) and aspirations are high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe I will do one of the formal projects mentioned above at some point, but for now I\u2019m going to try this. A new blog post, including one of my own visual media creations, every damn day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intent is to develop my creative voice on a public platform. I have yet to choose any specific topics besides whatever I have to show in terms of illustration and graphic design. I\u2019ll be experimenting with different visual styles and topics of discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
