Why must it always be all or nothing? How long have you been driving yourself through life this way, with your foot jammed against the floorboard like that? Would if hurt to ease up a bit? Would it hurt to play a little more?
I know it’s difficult when it seems like the world is out to get you, when your senses get flipped inside out, like the world is experiencing you.
Slow down a bit. Breathe a bit deeper. Drink more water. Break out of your routine from time to time. Allow yourself to heal in silence. Treat yourself to some peaceful happiness.
It gets better, I promise.
