When I was younger I did a lot of animation, especially in my teens, a bit in my early twenties. I had always planned to start animating again someday but kept putting it off for one reason or another. Lately, as I’ve gotten into illustration, my interest in animation has once again grown. This is a little loop I started back when I got my iPad a few years ago. It stood unfinished for a while, but yesterday I added the last few frames where the character stands up and the camera zooms in. It’s nowhere near perfect, but I enjoyed making it. Having completed this little animation loop is inspiring me to do some more.

I do, in fact, have a couple of other unfinished animation projects which I’ll get around to finishing and posting at some point. I’ve also been getting back into After Effects and am planning to incorporate more motion into my work as time goes on.
